once upon a nite in chat thai

as one of shifts worker.. i love chat thai.. but thats not the only reason i love this restaurant.. every bites just remind me of my home country (im not thai btw). me and my friends ordered



sum tom aka papaya salad (hint: if you are not into spicy ask the waiter how spicy you want)

this is what i recommend to lots of ppl.. its pad kapraw mo krob.. stir fry pork bely with chilli jam



desert are sticky rice with mango cheek and coconut ice cream



and ice bread taste like bubble gum..

hai au seagull chinese & vietnamese restaurant in campsie

It started on a family gathering of boyfriend family, was great.. and we keep saying that the
restaurant we went to for his birthday was great. then finally, me boyfriend and his parent went to this restaurant. we order 2 crabs (special chilly sauce and salt and pepper), salt and pepper quail, and salt and pepper tofu.
in this restaurant, it doesnt sell by kg but per each, like i said we had 2, 1 big and 1 small 1.


this one the big one... really big.... really big....... (salt and pepper) $120-ish





this one os the small one ($78-ish, special chilli sauce), they will asked whether it will noodle or not... we asked with noodle.... his mum want it very hot... while she was saying that it was too hot.. (u asked for it... for me... im indonesian.... indonesian love our chilli... i put extra chilli on side).




the quail was so small but great for entree..




salt and pepper tofu... love them so cruncy outside and soft inside... his dad said commented it was too salty...
it was great meal it was too much, but it more likely because we ate too much rice... definately will coming back..

i'm angus steak house

when i first time went to i'm angus. it was me and my boyfriend anniv... i think it was the 15th months annive.. we have been recommended by my friend so better try something different then...

this restaurant located in darling harbour same side with lindt cafe. i know where the restaurant are, however.. there are fews restaurant along that side and werent so sure that we actually missed it or not (dont worry we did manage to ge there... and on time too) we stepped in and been showed to our table.. it was really nice restaurant with half open kitchen.

it was not hard at all for me to decide what im going to eat.. i decided to order the pork ribs and was not sure which sirloin steak he wanted to eat. so he decided to get the 500g sirloin

as you can see it was massive... thick and long sirloin... with chips..

the steak was juicy and tender... the sauce was nice... but unfortunatelly we can finish it (the chips)






i think the ribs was better than hurricane.. but as big as 1 full rack in hurricane.. fortunately only 1 size (if there is any smaller boyfriend will forced me to get the smaller 1)

overall was good.. but service was not up to what i expected...

BIG... BIG... JOHN's in sans souci

hullaaaaaaa.... this is the first blog and i started with big john's restaurant in sans souci. just like the name all the food there was serve in big portion as well... when you come to this restaurant it is recommended to share your food and order less. the price was not expensive when we compare to the size... we ordered 2 small pizzas, a chicken ceasar salad, and pork ribs.















im not sure whether u can see clearly.. but for me its not expensive.. the first pict was the size of the pizza... (well bit more than that)







this is the ceasar salad its $18.50. it is a 3 x of normal portion







this ribs cost $29.00 this ribs is as big as full ribs in Huricane restaurant and i'm angus. but i prefer i'm angus ribs.





this is the all meat pizza.. $14.50 each small pizza





and this is mick molnar's specials... chic, goat cheese (or fetta), and something else.
